UN35 Members, during our monthly membership meeting heard from candidate Hilario Dominguez. After a Q&A with the candidate members discussed and voted to endorse Hilario for Chicago School Board President.
This is the first time Chicagoans get to elect the School Board President. As the only CPS graduate and former CPS teacher running for President, Hilario understands the complex needs of CPS students, teachers, staff, and the investments our community schools need to thrive. While previous administrations have turned to programming cuts and school closures to make up the budget gap, UN35 has endorsed Hilario because he is committed to fully funding our public schools by making corporations and the ultra-rich pay their fair share.
