Election Endorsement!
On Sunday, July 19th, UN35 members voted unanimously
to endorse and organize to elect Anthony Quezada for 35th Ward Alderman!

As a life-long Logan Square resident from a working-class family, Anthony has been a leader in UN35 long before being elected as Cook County Commissioner and winning the community’s support for appointment to Alderman. We look forward to continuing our fight for the needs of our community alongside him in City Council.
We begin the work of re-electing Anthony in earnest next Tuesday, July 28th, at 6:00 PM! We’re meeting at the UN35 office to celebrate the first day that we can collect petition signatures to get Anthony on the ballot in February! No experience necessary — we hope to see you there!
We’ll also be canvassing from the UN35 office at 11:00 AM every Saturday in Augustto talk to neighbors in the ward about our endorsed candidates for Elected Representative School Board, City Council, and the issues impacting our community.

About United Neighbors of the 35th Ward (UN35)
OUR VALUES START HERE.
United Neighbors of the 35th Ward (UN35) is a grassroots, independent political organization that organizes in Hermosa, Logan Square, Avondale, Irving Park, and Albany Park. We organize to unite and amplify the voices of poor and working people in our communities to participate in our local political process. We are a volunteer-led, community-funded organization.
We encourage everyone to participate how they can.
There are many opportunities within UN35
to learn about activism and volunteering with your community.
A good place to get started is speaking with one of our organizers.
One of us will give you a call when you click “Get Involved” at the top of the page and send us a response.
If you aren’t ready to join us for a meeting or a community canvass,
please consider making a monthly donation to sustain our work. Donations help us keep our office space open.
